Gym-Kat Sports Center

HAS GROUNDBREAKING

The new Gym-Kat Sports Center will be located at 545 Holly Hills Cemetery Road, not far off the new loop north of Granbury. The groundbreaking was last month.

Gym-Kats offers recreational and competitive tumbling, trampoline and cheerleading.

In addition, the center will have preschool classes starting at the age of 18 months.

Classes and activities at the center are offered for toddlers through adults, according to the center spokeswoman. Services include a party space and gym time for birthday parties.

Every Friday, Gym-Kats has Friday Fun Night from 7 -10 p.m. This gives parents a safe and fun place to drop off their kiddos so they can have project time, date night or shopping without the kids.

Texas Health Stephenville expands wound services

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville recently renovated their Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine center and added two hyperbaric oxygen chambers as well as increasing the number of exam rooms.

“The number of Americans who suffer from diabetes and lower extremity oxygen deficiencies is growing, so access to this type of therapy is paramount,” said Patty Weidemann, program director of wound care services at Texas Health Stephenville.

“We are excited about the addition of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to complement our existing services and to offer patients the advanced care they need in a location closer to home,” she added.
