MAILING DEADLINES GIVEN

BY U.S. POSTAL SERVICE

The U.S. Postal Service has announced holiday mailing deadlines to ensure that packages arrive before the big day.

For international mail, the deadlines are Dec. 3 for Priority or Dec. 11 for Express and Dec. 17 for Global Express guaranteed.

For domestic mail, the deadlines are Dec. 21 for Priority and Dec. 22 for Express.

PANNELL BOOK SIGNING

TODAY AT DECOR N MORE

Julia Pannell and her granddaughter Hannah Glory Fore will be marketing their book “The Adventures of Jack & Yip-Yip” today at DeCor N More, in the Plaza Center across from Kroger on Highway 377.

Refreshments and autographed copies of the book will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

CENTURY 21 PRESENTS AWARD

TO TOP CANDY CORN GUESSER

Alyssa Stovall, 9, was the winner of Century 21 Shirley Hooks “Guess How Many Candy Corn” contest at the Harvest Moon Festival Booth.

Stovall guessed 900 and only missed the exact count by 5! Judy Trivett presented a $50 gift card and the candy jar to the young lady at the Century 21 office on the square in Granbury.
