TOWN AND COUNTRY BANK

IS NOW INTERBANK

Town and Country Bank is now InterBank.

Jim Chambers describes InterBank as a “hometown, community bank with strong rural ties.” Chambers has been president of Town and Country Bank since its inception 35 years ago.

The Stephenville-based Town and Country Bank operates branches in Granbury, Glen Rose, Bluff Dale and Aledo.

No staffing changes are anticipated at the bank or at the branches as a result of the sale/merger with InterBank.

Chambers said InterBank has operations in Texas and Oklahoma.

“The increasing regulatory challenges facing community banks are significant, and this transaction will allow the bank to be affiliated with a well-managed, family-owned banking organization,” Chambers said.
