FIRST FINANCIAL BANK, N.A. ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR

Doug Montgomery has been elected to the First Financial Bank, Stephenville Region board. The announcement was made by Ron Mullins, First Financial Bank, Stephenville Region President and CEO.

“We are very pleased and excited that Doug will join our Bank’s board of directors. He brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise to our bank as a local business and community leader,” said Mullins.

Montgomery is owner/dealer of Texstar Ford Lincoln, Inc., and Texstar Kubota, Inc. He has 29 years of experience in the automotive business in Mineral Wells, San Antonio and Stephenville. Prior to his automotive career, Montgomery founded Montgomery Oilfield Service in Mineral Wells.

Montgomery serves on the board of Tarleton State University’s Texan Club, and is a member of Patillo Baptist Church.

He and his wife Sherri have two children.

BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT

IS FREE AT H-E-B ON AUG. 23

School days will soon be here and H-E-B has a fun day planned before the daily routine begins.

The Back-To-School event Friday evening, Aug. 23, runs from 5 – 7 in the H-E-B community room. Children will be treated to fun craft projects and can read a book with H-E-Buddy.

The event is free, but space is limited. Preregistration is suggested at the Boys and Girls Club of Hood County, Hood County Library or the H-E-B business center.

All participants can register to win a free gift basket of school supplies.
