Warren and Patsy Ross, of deCordova Bend Estates celebrated their 60th anniversary with a family supper at their home on Wed., Oct. 2. The diamond anniversary celebration was hosted by their children.
Warren Gamaliel Ross and the former Patsy Jeanne Griffin were married on Oct. 2, 1953 in the pastor’s study of University Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
The couple lived in Fort Worth until moving to Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Warren worked as an engineer for Chance Vought Aeronautics then Ling, Tempco, Vought Aerospace. They also lived temporarily in Whittier, Calif. before Warren retired in 1985.
Patsy was primarily a homemaker and raised the couple’s four children: Pamela and husband Jim Bass, Greg and wife Suzanne McCormick, Sheila and husband Lee Stoudenmire, and Beverly. They have seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
